First day of #OneWeek100People #OneWeek100People2024 hosted by @lizsteelart and @m.holmes.art - I’m really trying to explore a lot and rebuild some core skills since I’ve been out of the habit lately. So I’m remembering how I want to approach both gesture driven sketches and smaller figures with energy and weight.
In past years’ challenges, day 3 or so is where I started seeing stuff I really liked, so trying to increase the volume this year and see what I learn. #ShowYourWork

Taking an algebra course this semester, and the professor asks us to show all work. Current problem is factoring; I knew the instant I saw the equation that it was prime, and unfactorable. How do I show my work for that?
So I wrote “Prime. I looked at it, then stared at it for another minute to be sure.”

Day 4 of the OST composing Jam. It's done!
I'm so happy. I've had a great time, did some cool stuff, talked to nice people and listened to their music.
In order to submit my project, I had to include proof that my work was original, in the form of a video of my DAW.

Welp, it's almost 2 AM now, but I did get some art done!
I'm calling this finished on this piece. Not the best finish, perhaps, but it's a just-for-fun thing, so it's fine.
Honestly? I'm quite happy with it. I feel like the color changes to the sorceress's outfit help her stand out, and I like how the moth turned out too.
