BetaCodex Network Switzerland is here!
After a workshop on #CellStructureDesign in Berne last week, organized by "Good Practice Group CH", one of the group's founders, Vladimir Riecicky, decided to raise the banner of the BetaCodex over Switzerland - so to speak!
Among our plans for Switzerland are further workshops on Cell Structure Design this year, potential #OpenSpaceBeta qualifications, and, if possible, to actually undertake or at least start an actual Beta transformation this year. Let's see how this plays out. Here is the new web page of BetaCodex CH:

A new BetaCodex Network research paper is here!
For this publication, authors @silkehermann and @nielspflaeging drew upon insight from 20+ years of practical work with organizations around transformation, self-organization and decentralization.

For the new paper "Cell Structure Design Patterns, II" they describe a set of 10 patterns that they identified as key to such transformations.
Read & download the "Cell Structure Design Patterns, II" white paper (and also the first paper of the series) free of charge and free of registration, here: lnkd.in/ev7fmxT Enjoy!

This is the 20th research paper of from the #BetaCodex Network, since 2008.

Over the last couple of weeks, @nielspflaeging did quite a few client workshops – on Beta transformation of different shapes and sizes, which can employ #CellStructureDesign "naked" or in combination with #OpenSpaceBeta.
We noticed once again that while we can do useful and valuable workshops for all Alpha organizations, our impact with regards to actual Beta transformation will usually depend on the "level of wanting" in the client organization: Is there a sponsor who "really really wants" change (Bergmann)? Is there a constellation of people who "are in love with success" (Bloch) and who believe there is a better organization within their organization that wants to get out (Weichselbaum)? Is there a sponsor sho firmly believes "everybody matters" (Bosch)?

This is certainly a distinctive factor. At least in our mind.

www.linkedin.comIf it takes longer than a few months, then it's NOT transformationFive years ago, I would have told you (and I did!) that serious organizational transformation could not be achieved in less than 18 months. I considered 1,5 years to be an excellent and in fact super-fast time-frame.

This June, my friend Rijon and I started the #BetaCodex podcast "BetaCodex LIVE". By now, we did 23 episodes together, which usually take around 40 minutes - with notable exceptions. We covered a great deal of topics - from transformation with #OpenSpaceBeta to research around #CellStructureDesign to useful distinctions, such as the one between "Dissent and Resistance" (covered in our latest episode).
