One of my close friends is fully disabled while also trying to maintain the house they share with their equally disabled mother.
They have greedy, conservative, meddling relatives who do everything but help... Including calling social services in an attempt to steal the property out from under them. They almost succeeded last week.
As a result, they had to drop a lot of funds to stay where they are and need help recovering from the blow to put food on the table.
